So stressed in work these few days...haiz..really hard to be a female engineer working in a male-dominated industry...the production pple and engineering people has got really differing views in the workscope...for an example, i got an engine coming in for some checks and installation..my mentor( engrg dept) wants to verify some doubts he has for this engine and asked mi to send some enquiry email to the manufacturer of this engine model..so while waiting for the email reply, the production engineer,Lau asks mi why i am taking so long to prescribe a workscope for this module...so i told him that i am waiting for a reply...he immediately jumped at mi and raised his voice saying i cannot be so dependent on the OEM..if everything must ask them then watz the use of the engineering dept and u as engineer???wah he was so loud and fierce that even the technicians turned to look at him..i swallow everything and tolerated his stupid temper lor...the thing was not in the manual and if anything goes wrong, i am sure the OEM will push the blame to us..is he going to take the responsibility??he is very experienced and doesnt really listen to the engrg dept..i told him it was my mentor's idea to wait for the reply..and he doesnt buy that ...simply thinks tat i should be old enuff to make decisions and he believes that the OEM will tink i am asking stupid qns and they wun reply...oh my god, i am old enuff to think but not experienced enuff to make such decisions wat...stupid old fag!luckily the OEM replied mi coz maybe they noes that i am the new engineer and tatz y they understand mi...wah liaoz...he scold mi until i feel like crying liaoz...i mean he scold mi until i feel tat i am damn stupid and useless lar...i dun tink tat i am and i didnt want to use my rank to put him off..i think working for so long din make him any wiser in handling human relationships..totally no respect for pple...
anyway, after work, i met up with Desmond for dinner and movie...We went to Somerset Cineplex Leisure to get our tix..watch the movie ' Land of the Dead'...had our dinner at NYDC...both of us had baked rice and my fav drink Lemon Shiver...yummy..then went to walk for awhile at Heeren and proceeded for our movie ..the show was ok lar...i gif it 2.5 stars upon 5 actually becoz itz nothing new except the dead now noes tat they can walk past a river ( tends to scared of water in most shows) ..i mean they are dead so it shouldnt matter where they go as long as they dun get blast in their heads..this time, the show is more gross as they really show how the dead tears up the flesh of living humans..there was a scene that was quite sad...most of the living were fenced up by high voltage wires in a area that is controlled by a very rich and ruthless man...he built a very nice condo and mostly only the rich living gets to stay there...the poor stranded on the streets..so the dead finally made a move towards this city leaded by a black dead man who was smart even though he was dead..the dead could communicate,not by talking of coz, and think which was rather different from other shows...there was a 'cleaning' vehicle tat was meant to destroy as many dead as they can and it was stolen..but eventually was retrieved by the leader of the crew that kills the dead..so on their way back trying to salvage the situation when the dead had already entered the city, they were juz too late..the wires that were used to protect the living became the trap when the dead attacks..when they reached, the dead were feeding on the living..it was very sad as there was nothing they could do but bombed the city to remove all the dead...so if u wanna noe more abt the movie, then catch it!
Then after that, i went home on a cab but Alex wanna come and pick mi up..he is really nice lar...everytime when i am outside, he will msg mi and ask mi if i wans him to pick mi up...we are juz frens but he will do tat everytime he noes i am outside...so he came and send mi home...everytime he will juz come down and pick mi home...tatz all...dunno wat to say abt this guy...he is nice lar but i dun have the special feeling for him....it makes mi feel bad tat everytime he comes is juz to pick mi up...next week then find a proper time to meet and thank him then...
