Finally i have completed my graduation trip with my best friend Ginny..Oh how i miss the sea, stars and sun of Mauritius!! cant bear to leave that place on the last nite of our trip...i am planning another trip with Ginny but this time to Barcelona! Barce was actually the grad trip destination for us but it was too expensive and dangerous for two young ladies to backpack! Haha but i think we are ready to go for it now..better do it now while we are still young! After i reached back to Singapore, i unpacked my stuff and set aside my presents ready for my close friends in Singapore..So guys, look out! When i wanna meet u guys, get ready to receive ur souvenirs from Mauritius!! I didnt manage to do much shopping there as we were following a small tour group most of the time so it was quite rush for us to do our shopping..beside looking out for nice gifts, we must also bargain coz they really jacked up the price so we must haggle to keep it low and cheap for us..The Mauritians has quite a low standard of living and they mainly depend on their textile industry, sugar cane plantations, tea, coffee and tourism to keep the economy going..Mainly dominated by Indians, African black descendents in the suburbs and more malays and chinese in the capital city, Port Louis...
Mi and ginny did horse riding, parasailing, star viewing on the grass patch, snorekeling, catamaran cruise and quad bike ride in the deer mountains..tatz very fun but it cost quite a bit too...But nvm, we can still earn our money again...hahaha i really enjoyed this trip with ginny..she damn comical during our trip..will nv forget the way she calls the dogs, ang moh babies and fat sparrows in Maurice 'cute cute'.. After we came back to Singapore, i wrote a 12 page long diary to remember the events in Mauritius...Will try to upload some pictures that we took in Maurice to show the beauty of the country!
It might be a long time before we go back to Mauritius again as we had almost covered the country in the main tourist attraction areas.. But when i have travelled to enough places of interest, i will definitely go back to visit Mauritius again..Itz a promise between mi and ginny as we made wishes upon the shooting stars... =)
